Marina di Arbus central-west coast in the prov. of Cagliari. The territory facied on the sea crossing a splendid coast for more than 50Km from Capo Pecora at south, to Capo Frasca at north.
We are in the territory of Arbus, that assembles some seaside localities, as Piscinas, called together Costa Verde.
The area is famous for its wild nature and particularly for its Dune, uniques in the Isle and in Europe for dimension and characteristics, even 50m high too, still in motion, and where are splendid junipers that form a natural habitat for the Sardinian deer, present with about 10% of the world population and you can easy observer it at the natural condition. In the historical centre of Arbus there is the Knife House-Museum, of the famous craftsman Pusceddu. In the hall is on show the biggest flick knife of the world, the Arburesa. In the Museum there is a vast range of knifes, some of them are really work of art.
There is a luxuriant mediterranean scrub. The 27 km that separate this little corner of paradise from the inhabited centre make about it a wild territory.
